95.5 WPLJ, New York (1991)

 

Very very rare! unused bumper sticker from 1991, sheet measures approximately 17.8 cm by 11.4 cm.

Front side: background: white; circle; WPLJ logo + 5 smaller stickers: WPLJ logo.
Back side: white; "The Rocky Allen Showgram" mornings promo, WPLJ logo. 


It's a special stuff on my WPLJ sticker collection, very very rare WPLJ sticker from early 1990s.. "The Rocky Allen Showgram" promo at back side this bumper sticker showing that its released when WPLJ morning show was hosted by Rocky Allen, before hired Scott Shannon as WPLJ's Program Director and morning show host (replacing Rocky Allen) in April 1991. WPLJ then immediately rebranded as "Mojo Radio" on April 2.

Update about WPLJ:
On February 7, 2014, Scott Shannon announced his retirement from WPLJ after 22 years. Co-host Todd Pettengill immediately took control of the morning show, which re-branded as "The Todd Show" on February 24. Shannon is currently at WCBS-FM.

On January 5, 2015, "The Todd Show" was re-branded to "Todd & Jayde in the Morning" due to low ratings. Jayde Donovan, also known as Patricia Sweet, from Sacramento's KDND joined Pettengill as a co-host. With the change, co-hosts Cooper Lawrence, Fitz and Meatballs (Richard Deaver Jr.) were all released. Monk (Joe Pardavila), Annie (Anne Marie Leamy), and Johnny on the Street (John Mingione, formerly 'John Online' of WBLI/Long Island) are the other cast members of "Todd & Jayde in the Morning."

Antenne Bayern is a private radio station based in Ismaning, near München, Germany. Antenne Bayern first broadcast on September 5, 1988. Before its launch as Antenne Bayern, from the mid-1985 to 30 September 1987 on 89.0 FM, this station branded as Radio 1.

Antenne Bayern format is AC (Adult Contemporary). They have also 14 other thematic channels are available as web radio including Rock Antenne, Antenne Bayern Digital Info, and Antenne Bayern Top 40 - Hit Radio for Bayern, in the national DAB.

According to the media analysis 2014 Radio II, Antenne Bayern reached more than 4.2 million listeners a day, 1,351,000 listeners in the average broadcast time (6:00 AM to 06:00 PM, Monday to Friday) . Based on this survey Antenne Bayern is the most listened to radio station in Germany.
